Sergeant Goody and Brian were donated by an amazing kennel in Huntsville, Birchcliffe kennels. These 2 Golden Retrievers are on track to becoming superheroes. Both are being trained to become psychiatric service dogs.
Eden is training Sergeant Goody for herself a 16 year old with a mental health diagnoses. You’ll see in the video Eden has taught Sergeant to interrupt a self harming behaviour, scratching. Eden has in the past scratched and rubbed herself so hard that it has left scars and burn marks.
Brian is being trained by a long term puppy raiser, Kim Kelly. Kim takes Brian everywhere and has even got him working in a local school for reading therapy. They were given an award for their volunteer work.
