Expert Team of Service Dog Trainers at Partners With Paws

Julie Dorney – Health Advocate and Service Dog Trainer
Cynthia Bell – Service Dog Trainer and Manager
Jordan Karley – Apprentice Service Dog Trainer

Our goal at the beginning of 2026 was to expand our team by adding 2 more trainers. We’re well on our way to achieving that goal.

Lets take a minute to welcome Jordan Karley Apprentice Service Dog Trainer. Jordan is a fire fighter with Guelph Fire and Captain with Woolwich Fire, Breslau Station. The Karley family have Service Dog Billy John for their son Augie, but Billy John also accompanies Jordan to the Breslau Station as a facility dog.

Cynthia Bell, Service Dog Trainer and manager, will now be managing any new trainers that come on-board. We are so excited to be expanding and training new trainers to train our Superhero dogs. Cynthia participates in Freestyle, with her own dogs. The dancing dog group at Scholars in Collars regularly perform their routines for seniors at facilities like senior homes. Cynthia, also has competed in Rally Obedience and fun Agility. She has been training performance dogs for the past 16 years.

Julie Dorney, Service Dog Trainer and Health Advocate, will continue to train our Superhero dogs, but will also manage all the health related aspects of our dogs. Julie will make sure that all of our dogs are staying in top health performance for their Superhero jobs. Julie is a very well respected Veterinary Technician, even winning an award for the best in her field across Canada. Julie has been training dogs all her life and has competed in numerous dog sports like Rally Obedience, Tracking, Scent Detection etc.
