Found what I was looking for

Hello everyone, my name is Nevaeh. I’m a 17 year old high school student and the newest member/volunteer at the partners with paws organization.

It all started only a couple months ago. I moved from the big city of Mississauga to a small city called Breslau. Moving away at such an important time in my life made me very stressed. Everything was different. I started attending a school where I felt very alone and I started a new job (which is hard for everyone to do). I felt very lost in this city which made me become very lonely.

I knew that I was graduating soon and I wanted to do something. I wanted to give back to the community. After searching through a bunch of volunteering opportunities I came across “partners with paws” on instagram. After researching, I grew very fond of the organization due to the fact that I love dogs and I love helping people. Pets hold a special place in my heart. I can’t get enough of their companionship and the happiness they bring into my and others lives. Whether it’s a playful pup, a cuddly cat, or any other furry friend, I cherish the time spent with them.

After applying to volunteer with “partners with paws”, I received a call from Jacqueline. We set a day for me to come and observe a class and that’s how I became a part of this furry friend loving family.
